funny China

Found this at one of our favorite outdoor restaurants the other night.
Such a paradox.

I love finding shirts like these for the girls. They just bring so much JOY!
Eden is quite happy with her shirt too!
Gotta love Chinglish.

I can’t find anything funny about this English, but this is not Chicken nuggets – its POPCORN!!! We were excited to find this though, since it’s hard to find good popcorn kernels! Yum!!

Just gave me a chuckle.

While in China town we managed to capture a funny typo for your enjoyment.

"Snappers. A novel trick item. Bang drop it! Throm it! Step on it! Snap it! Caution: Carefully read other cautions on side panel."

We bought 6 boxes of these "snappers" for $1!! On the side panel, we are recommended to only give to children 8 years of age and older. We figured the combined ages of our kids (11) was good enough, so these were nifty stocking stuffers and fun New Years items. Of course we had parental supervision, and we picked up our trash!

"Sweve in sincerity" 至诚入微 = zhì chéng rù wēi
The Chinese literally means "complete sincerity, in every way" - but "sweve" might have been a typo. This is a sign outside a big Hotel, where maybe they sincerely entertain Swedish guests? We thought they might have meant "serve" at first - but the Chinese doesn't indicate this either. I guess it is a mystery, just like mankind.

Here are a few great signs that were found while visiting a beautiful park last weekend. These are just part of the joy of living here. Gotta love the effort.

Forbid toward Hanoi (he nei=river/inside) to throw the garbage: Throwing garbage into the river is prohibited.
Forbid to fishing enter the water frolic and build a fire: Obviously, these are forbidden as well. Campfires and water frolicking don't mix well.

This next one is kinda hard to read....
No throwing away the rubbish everywhere.
No carving and drawing freely.
No spitting on the ground. (love this one!)
Cherish the communal facilities.
No carrying those that are easily burnt and bombed.
The management office.

I love their management office. They have brought so much joy to my life.

Great signs found in the airport. Signs like these are a continual source of joy in our lives.

I think this is where you claim over-sized luggage pieces. We could be wrong...maybe they just want to emphasize the "greatness" of this baggage claim area?

This is not something you'd want to do. It's forbidden.

We think this is funny….but maybe we are just easily entertained!

Macaroni: The best leisure food

"We like the new taste. We need the quality and we need the best food. Here you will find what you want. Cool fashion need cool taste. Give you the minerable feeling."

Ahh...I feel so fashionable and minerable now.
Such cheap entertainment tho: 5 kuai = 69 cents!
